An Urban Home for Two & a Cat

This project involved the interior design of a contemporary city residence in Kuala Lumpur for a young couple seeking a calm and well-balanced home. The design approach focused on clarity of space, functional flow, and material coherence, allowing the interior to support everyday living without unnecessary complexity.
Rather than responding to trends, design decisions were guided by proportion, restraint, and long-term relevance. Spatial planning was carefully considered to ensure a natural relationship between shared and private areas, while a controlled material palette was used to maintain visual continuity throughout the home. Subtle variations in texture and lighting add depth without overwhelming the space.
Each element was developed with direct involvement from concept through execution, ensuring design intent remained consistent. The result is a composed urban home that feels grounded, adaptable, and comfortable — shaped by thoughtful judgment and designed to remain relevant over time.
